He was a member of the Northampton Area School Board (1959-1983), Vo-Tech and Intermediate Unit 20 (1968). Mr. and Mrs. Lindenmoyer were married for 55 years and had a son, James. James “Jimmy” Lindenmoyer was a graduate of Northampton Area High School. He was a sports writer for the Blue Mountain Gazette and the Northampton Press. In 2011, he was elected into the Northampton High School Athletic Hall of Fame as a contributor/historian. His lifelong love of Northampton Sports led Jim and his dad, Woody to compile a historical compendium of Northampton HS Athletic statistics, leading to his nickname, “Mr. Star.”
We give thanks for the Lindenmoyer family for the love and service they gave to St. Paul’s. Church throughout their lifetime and for their generous bequest that established and provides for this scholarship fund that supports their passion for education.
